Exhaust Gas Recirculation

Johnson Electric’s motors are designed to maximize the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system’s capability to reduce the engine’s NOx emissions and  improve engine efficiency.  For EGR applications, the micro motors must have high power density to provide sufficient torque under all engine conditions. The motors can tolerate temperatures up to 150°C and vibration levels of 50g in all directions. Johnson Electric’s EGR motors deliver more torque from smaller and lower weight packages.  Fast dynamic response is achieved by motor designs with low cogging torque and low inertia.
