The Window Lift Drive product line consists of two platforms, WL Standard and WL Compact Lite. Low weight is required to improve fuel economy and compact size is required to align with the trend of fully featured small cars. Improved sound quality is an increasing requirement for passenger comfort. Anti-pinch functionality can be integrated with either Window lift drive. The Johnson Electric Window Lift drive designs have a very low ripple current, which can be used for anti pinch control electronics.
- The Compact Lite platform has been developed based on Johnson Electric’s unique Curve technology. This product delivers high power from a small package without using rare earth magnet material. The Compact Lite product line is low weight with lower noise performance. The Compact Lite drive efficiency meets the designer’s need for a low power budget.
- The Standard platform has been developed to deliver reliable torque performance in the range of 6 Nm to 12Nm.
