The Johnson Electric range of Gas Shut Off Valves is the industry’s first integrated gas shut off valve to combine mechanical valve, motor, sensors and control electronics for smart metering. Innovative ball valve technology enables zero flow resistance which supports highest grid efficiency. The valve product line offers double position indication by using a microswitch and also motor step count. Precise valve opening supports gas flow checking for a safe restart of the gas meter. The valves are compact with industry leading performance and can be easily assembled by plug-in bayonet fitting. Rotary and linear stepper motors have been extensively used in valve applications for many years in custom designs.
