Johnson Electric’s subsystems and components are specifically designed to address the technical challenges and human factors associated with Combi Boiler Diverter Valves. Fundamental requirements such as energy efficiency, low noise, reliability and compact designs are the main drivers behind our product line up. The diverter valve product line has been designed to eliminate water hammer with special sealing plug design to ensure low noise and a very low pressure drop for high energy efficiency.
Platforms are available for 3/2 way diverter valve customization, 4 way valves can also be custom engineered to meet the needs of solar power equipped homes. The future trend towards smaller Combi Boilers for installation in kitchens is the driver behind our product development to create compact and quiet valves. Valve cartridges are also available as a component for customers who wish to design and fabricate the complete valve.
Stepper motors and synchronous motors are available as components. Stepper motors are ideal for designers who wish to precisely control the valve speed and position. Synchronous and DC motors are available as components for systems that are on/off control based. EC motors (Brushless) have recently been released to address the increasing requirements for building energy efficiency. The EC motor range is available in high and low detent torque versions. For position sensing in this application, a subminiature microswitch is ideal, with IP40 and IP67 specifications.
