Japan Earthquake

The devastation resulting from the earthquake and tsunami in Japan has shocked and saddened all of us. On behalf of all Johnson Electric staff worldwide, we extend our deepest sympathy and concern. We are thinking of our staff, suppliers and customers in Japan who are striving to recover from this tragic situation. We are glad to confirm the safety of all Johnson Electric staff and their immediate family in Japan.

Our Supply Chain Services group is actively investigating the effect that this disaster could have on our extended supply chain. Planned rolling blackouts are in effect across the country and logistics services are disrupted. This includes ports, roads and information networks. There is no immediate impact to shipments from Johnson Electric plants globally, however we are communicating with all of our suppliers to determine if there are any issues. We will be communicating directly with our customers to confirm shipment schedules. The situation is being monitored on a daily basis and customers will be notified immediately if problems are discovered.
