Automotive HVAC Actuators - Johnson Electric

The EAD and EFB stepper motor based products, under the Saia-Burgess brand, are the European OEM industry standards for under the hood HVAC actuation modules. These motion platforms are custom engineered to integrate within a specific HVAC unit. The Johnson Electric product development process continues to advance the EAD and EFB product lines to meet the customer’s ppm goals. The EAD product line next generation (EVD) will support the continuing improvements in fuel efficiency and set new standards for cabin noise reduction. The EVB product line is being developed with new electronics for lower power consumption and silent motor operation. The PMDC motor based products, under the Saia-Burgess brand, are the American OEM industry standard for under the hood HVAC actuation modules. The latest additions to this PMDC product line are the Atlas Next Gen and Gen III modules, which provide higher torque, lower noise and smaller size benefits.
