Stepper motors are very flexible motion control devices. They are found in countless industrial, consumer, and automotive applications. The development, test and optimization of any new stepper drive can be a time consuming process for a development engineer. To assist in this process, Saia has developed prototyping modules to enable a design engineer to test and optimize a driver for their application by experimenting with a series of circuits and drive modes. The Evaluation Kit is a universal development and test tool, enabling fast prototype development. The Samtronic Modules provide standard drive electronics for unipolar and bipolar motors that operate at supply voltages from 10-24VDC.
